About Dr Anna Symonds
I am a Consultant Psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). After completing my medical degree at the University of Birmingham, I relocated to Australia in 2014 and have since trained and practised across public, community and private mental health services in Sydney.
Alongside my private practice at Spot On Health Hub, Randwick, I work as a Staff Specialist Psychiatrist at Headspace and am a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales.
I provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment and ongoing management for a broad range of mental health conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, trauma-related disorders, ADHD and autism spectrum conditions, with a particular interest in Youth and Women's mental health, including perinatal psychiatry.
